Watson Links x First Tee – SAV Mentor Golf
Mentor Month is a 4-week period dedicated to friendship, fun and improvement on the golf
course! First Tee – Savannah will pair adult golfers with juniors at local courses. Newcomers to this initiative and returners are welcome!
Simple training, fun products and resources are provided to tee up everyone for safety and
success! Each mentor/mentee duo will tee it up at least once a week, at a time and location
of their choosing. All players will receive a free Imperial hat and Golf Game Directory bag
tag!
What is a golf mentor? Mentors aim to cheer juniors on, keep golf fun and drive social
skills and personal development. If you are a golfer of any skill level, have a desire to pass
on a positive mindset, and have the availability to play 2 or more 9-hole rounds with a
mentee during this month, please consider joining us!
What juniors are a good fit for this? Mentees are age 8-18 and participants at
First Tee – Savannah. Juniors should be course ready and have their own set of clubs. No
matter their skill level, every kid deserves a golf mentor!
Other event details:
- Mentors and mentee duos are asked to play once a week for 4 weeks
- FT-Savannah will host a Mentor Invitational as the grand finale to its golf mentoring efforts in
2026 seasons! - Return mentors/mentees are welcome!
How to participate as a Junior or Mentor?
- Complete the Interest Form Below
- Returning juniors need to still complete interest form for the new season
2026 Mentor Month Schedule:
- Spring – May1st to June 6th
- Fall – October 1st to November 7th
